1. Data We Collect

When you use TextTruth, the text you submit is sent to Google's Gemini AI for analysis. We do not permanently store the conversation text after generating your result. However, we do collect the following:

  • Your email address when you sign in with Google (used for account management and subscription status)
  • Subscription and payment status (managed by Paddle.com)
  • Anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage)
  • A local analysis history stored in your browser's localStorage (not on our servers)
  • Temporary analysis results stored in your browser's sessionStorage during your visit (cleared when you close the tab)

2. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Google Gemini AI — processes your submitted text for analysis (subject to Google's privacy policy)
  • Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics with IP anonymization enabled (only activated with your cookie consent)
  • Paddle.com — payment processing as Merchant of Record (handles all payment data under PCI DSS)
  • Google OAuth — authentication (we receive your email and display name)
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection (no personal data processed)

3. Cookies

We use cookies for essential functionality (language preference, session management) and optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that are only activated with your explicit consent via our cookie banner. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.

4. Payments

Payment processing is handled entirely by Paddle.com (Merchant of Record). We never see or store your payment card details. Paddle handles all payment data in compliance with PCI DSS standards.

5. Data Transmission

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not use end-to-end encryption for analysis content — your text is decrypted on our server to be sent to the AI model. We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account data (email, subscription info) at any time by contacting us. Browser-stored analysis history can be cleared by you directly. If you have questions or requests regarding your data, contact us at celvion.contact@gmail.com.
